Does anyone know where I can get a free background check on someone. I have an email address, address, and phone number........ ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on what you mean by "background." Credit history, criminal history, family tree, whether or not they're a sexual predator?

I know that some states have websites that offer a free online service where you can lookup a person'* court background. Any case that went through the courts, from speeding tickets (that'* me!) to felonies would be available there.

I am just looking for any recent telephone numbers and current address. I have been trying to get a hold of this guy for a refund I never got from him. It'* a large amount of money and I feel as though I am getting the run around.

..j/k...if you have his email addy, I think you can do a reverse lookup. If you have a name, whitepages.com has address and telephone numbers. If they don't list him, try other places, and if that'* a no go, you may have to do some sleuth-like thinking...
