Hop on one of the 100i'*.. I've never gotten beaten while being in shape so badly on a machine.

Imagine that my usual would be an elliptical with or without moving arms. I was ripping along at a resistance of 9-12 with a stride per minute of 170-190 for the full hour. Pulling out a good 900+ calories an hour then tacking on the 5 minute cool down. I figured I'd try the 100i as another machine in the rotation of things to workout on. Hopped on, feels a bit different... I went for the running in air kinda plan because the machine can do nearly anything from stairs to running to an odd elliptical. Figuring I'd start up easy and settle in, I think...the ellipticals are Precor, this is Precor.. I will go easy on a resistance of 4. Afterall.. 9-12 is my usual. Before the first minute I'm sweating badly (takes me 15 on the ellip), roll bakc to resistance of 3, am I sick? Two more minutes and I am having trouble at a pace of 108 strides per minute WTF????... down to a resistance of 2. From there it was another minute before I was gasping for breath at a resistance of 1 and I'm not 100% sure because I did finish an hour......but I did unsuccessfully look for a resistance of 0 at some point.

At the height of refusing to be beaten by this machine I was holding a 104-110 stride per minute and alternating from resistance of 10 to an occasional 14.

Hopped back on the MOD (Machine Of Death) yesterday for a light workout as it was my off day. Did a resistance of 4 about 30 min and went down to a 3 at an average stride per minute of 104 for the hour. 765 calories by the time the cooldown was done. I'm going to get back in shape and conquer this machine again.

Yea my workouts consist of a couple hours straight of Racquet Ball on top of walking to all my classes...and then there is the daily walk to check on the Bonneville in the farthest end of the farthest parking lot from my dorm....since getting to college last August I have lost over 75lbs.... I still need to lose about 30lbs more before I am happy though....I am hitting a plateau right now....gotta get out of that fast....lol Good luck to all of you on your working out/ weight loss endeavors!

Forgot to mention the 30min ab and upper body workout I do 3 days a week. Racquet ball is only 2 or 3 times a week...

I am actually looking at saving up for either a stang or a vette after I get out of college...can't decide on which one though..I need a weekend warrior that can handle corners...the Satellite can't do that very good.....even with a lot of money...I may miss the car but I doubt I will miss it much...it wasn't even my first car...lol
