Default Be back in a week

Hey everyone just thought i'd let you know i'll be away for a week maybe a little less.
Got surgery on Friday and i'm looking at being in the hospital for 4 or 5 days then home for recovery. I'm having a Gastric Bypass and will have to stay off work for about 3 weeks, but the doc says after that i can resume my everyday life. Woo Hoo!
For anyone interested a GB is where they make a small pouch out of the top of your stomach and shorten your small intestines so you don't take in too many calories. The pouch is about the size of your 2 thumps put together, mine will be a little bit smaller being a girl and all... Actually the pouch can only hold about 3 ounces of food.
It'* drastic surgery to try to lose weight, but i need fast results because of underlying health problems. This is the only time i've ever regretted giving up smoking, is when i started to gain weight. Funny thing when you quit smoking food taste so much better...
Anyways friends wish me luck and i'll be back before you know it to let you know how i made out.
Debbie

I know of a couple of people that have had the same proceure and they have come out on top just like you will. One friend lost over 250#'* follow Doc'* orders and it will work out for you as well.
