back on the road AGAIN!!
Well, after a little over a month, the bonnie is finally back on the road after having a new tranny built. I blew the trans apart 1200 miles after my motor rebuild. It was a nasty mess inside too. My bearing were as flat as washers. My 4th clutch hub and drum were toast. The trust washers were wasted. It was bad. I did a full rebuild with the H-D conversion with hardened internals, TransGo Jr kit, adj. vacuum modulator, 3.29 gears, and Phantom Grip LSD. This thing moves now!!! And it will lay 2 nice black strips. The downshifting is drasticly improved as well as the overall operation of the tranny. It actually squacked second gear!! I was shocked!. I want to say a special thanks to 96SSEi_tampa for hooking me up on the parts and jr's3800 for the technical help through this learing experience of a project. I would have been lost without the help of the great guys on this foruum. Thanks again.

I can already chirp into 2nd gear on a good day, but LSD and some more abusable parts would really make me happy. Man, my list of desired car parts (and cars) goes on and on. I just need the motivation (read: money) to get it done.
