Default avatar help

I was trying to make this my new avatar but the file size is to large. Can someone help? Thanks

Would the setting on my camera have anything to do with it? I had it on 7 pixels when I took it. then i shrank it down. If I lower the pixels will that help?

Tip for shrinking file sizes (with Photoshop):

Adjust pixels sizes

Choose File > Save for web

I don't get it :?

Adjust pixels sizes- If this is the same I adjusted the size to 100x75 That didn't change the file size though

Choose File > Save for web- Does this matter if I pick web or images?

In Photoshop:

File->Save for Web
