The A8 had the most tranny problems.

My brother has an 06 A6
Loves the car. Very tight suspension. Very Fast! AWD Twin Turbo

Its like any car that has extra goodies and toys....plan on not so cheap fixes when things break down!

Google "Audi A4 A6 Reviews" and start reading.

They are wonderful cars, my uncle bought one about two weeks ago. Sad thing is, he still has not had it home. He made it half way home when a warning light came on. He took it back and they said oh no problem, just a couple of days to get the part in. Told him it was nothing. Picks it up, and the same light came on halfway home. Now it is back at the Audi dealer without a transmission. Sad, seeing as it is a beautiful car. But, yes they are like Bonneville'*. Most are wonderful, others are direct descendents of the devil!

My youngest daughter has an '04 A4. Seems like it'* always something and Audi dealer service is rude, custumer service non existant and ridiculously expensive. To the point of being criminal.
