Hehe i built my own computer have 2 screens, a scanner, printer and video and photo editing software running Win2k and now on **goes and checks** ..... 482.5 hours of straight windows operating time (that means no hangs, freezes, restarts or power-off-time)..god i love this computer... but ilike macs too, grew up with them in my grades school...havent been on one in 4 years tho..hmmm

EDIT- Oh yeah 160GB (two 80 RAID toghether so 2x as much room and 2x the speed) and another 20Gb and a zip drive...sry ill stop now..i just LOVE this comp....

L27Buick, Have you looked at the Dell PC'*? I have owned 4 Dells over the years and have never had a problem. If you check out the dell website they also have a dell factory outlet with some good buys.
My present dells are a Dell Dimension 8200 2.4 ghz and a Dell Dim 4550 2.66ghz.

Whats that mean? I havent updated in a while... Ive been running for 20 days straight.. But please fill me in as to what your referring to...i run a ton of AIM and Paintshop and internet explorer, word but not much else so does it suprise you its run this long? Im just wondrin....

i already have a decent pc its just that my girlfriend is gonna work for her aunts print shop as a computer grapher and they all use mac and she wants to look in to getting one. (it also my way of getting another pc )

Right now i have one DVI flat panel on my desktop.... Want another! I did dual heads with a CRT from time to time, and it'* nice.

There is a host of new worms running amock, one of which is slammer. Patches are available from Microsoft almost daily. If you have not rebooted in 20 or so days, there are plenty of patches you have not installed leaving yourself vulnerable.
