Anyone remember life before the Internet?
waiting a week for a letter was perfectly acceptable
you didnt check your mailbox 90 times per day.
Maybe one less bill coming in the mail...
THEN, when it was first becoming popular, going from a 14.4 modem to a 56k modem felt GREEEAAAAATTTTT.
when you installed a new 400 meg hdd, you wondered if you would ever be able to fill it up..
Dial up was charged by the minute..

People actually sat and read the occasional book
If you wanted to see a movie,you either actually went to the movies or rented it instead of downloading it
