Yeah, funny you should say that... since a co-worker of mine spouted (the first night he saw my Aurora in the lot) "Hey I saw your new car... what is that, an Alero?"

DOH!

Hey, I don't think that'* too, too weird. I mean the Alero and the 'Rora have a very similar front end headlight/foglight set up. I've been looking at Aleros for the past couple months, and every once in a while, I drive past a 'Rora that I think is and Alero from the front. Now if you see it from the side, it'* a totally different issue.

My family was at an event, full of car enthusiasts. And someone needed our car moved, so they walked around yelling who owns the black grand prix. Now we know they meant our car, but we were just flat out ignoring them for a while cause we were so pissed. So my father turns around and says "do you mean the Bonneville???" OWNT.

To clear this up, I didn't mean that people mistaked the Grand Am for a Bonneville. I meant they mistake my GRAND PRIX for a Grand Am.

I've gotten this many times.
Even dealers have mistaken my old 1992 SE and current 1994 SLE for a 98-99 because I keep them so clean and shiny (well, maybe not this summer yet, but tonight Ol Blue is getting a quick polish except for where I'm putting the SLE emblems tomorrow).
