Sorry all. I pretty much allowed myself to be consumed in my home remodeling project (So much so, that I truly had neglected my friends and family here at BC
) which included stripping two bathrooms down to the studs, removal and semi-reconstruction of several walls in the family room/kitchen, living room. Removing popcorn from ceilings and retexturing, adding sliding french doors to the living room, rerouting some HVAC ducting, adding recessed can lights, dropping wiring down walls for new new outles and switches, and some removal of flooring and adding tiling throughout the house.

I have been working with a friend who has done the majority of work that was beyond my capabilites, but to save money, I have been doing as much work as I could myself. Let me tell you, I underestimated the amount of time and effort it takes to tackle everything being done (and the number of trips to Home Depot and Lowe'*), but I am gald to say the majority is now complete (I am painting the family foorm, kitchen, entryway and living room tomorrow).

Also, this is my busy time of year at work, and my daughters' dance classes and several weekend competitions had me overwhelmed.

I am back now and look forward to becoming an active and contributing member, again.

Hopefully you guys can forgive me for going AWOL on you.

Just like we discussed, Bob, I'm kind of going through some of the same situation as you described, right now. Renovating a house we bought so that Liz'* Dad can move in. He'* due to move on the 14th, so time is getting pretty short and the late nights are piling up. Can you say "sleep deprivation"?...

After he moves in, it'* on to the exterior renovations....

But this is supposed to be your thread, huh?

Welcome back to the living, Bob..almost.

Nothing to apologize for Bob, just get concerned about ya. You're like family to many of us here, so we worry

Glad to hear you're staying outta trouble by keeping busy

Just because he'* busy doesn't mean he'* staying out of trouble.

You did say you knew him right? :P
