yeah I have a pretty bad back and am also very curious...

Sure did. Before the Select Comfort (sleep number). GAVE it to my in-laws after 4 months and bought the Select-Comfort. Never regretted the decision.

Ok, yeah, I have a queen size sleep number. Pretty damn nice bed IMO.

My parents have a California King Sleep number bed, they love theirs too

NFC. I've had it too long. And don't fall for the platform option. It works just fine on a box spring. If it doesn't, simply cut a sheet of plywood for between them. Let the air mattress support you, not the box spring.

I want to get one of these select comfort sleep number beds but I just cant justify the money for what you get. I slep on the one at my dads house many times and yes it is 100 percent better with no back pain. I just wish I was getting more for my money.

You need at least a week to 'try'. It takes that long to figure out your number. I believe Select Comfort still has a 30 day or 90 day free trial period. If you don't like it, you get a full refund.
