I own a 93 bonneville and just curious how much bull the guy who owned it previously told me. I'd rather not shell out the 25 dollars if anyone has a free subscription or knows a way to get one. any help?

if you go to there site you can type in your vin number and it will tell you how many posts it has for that vin but i t wont tell you what they are. but if you dont have any posts under that vin then you dont have to worry about paying where as if you get 30 posts back it might be worth it to pay to find out what it is but also rember that every time you ever had you car serviced at a dealership it will post a hit on there. hope this helps you maybe just a little bit.

ya thats cool mine had 30. it was in the shop alot right after it was bought and then it was stolen and then recovered. so there was alot on it.

In the past Carfax always has a disclaimer that GM doesn't report in-shop repairs to the DMV or Carfax. So, the total number of records found won't be reflected by the quantity of in-shop repairs.

well since it looks like the three of us are in need of a carfax, do you guys want to split up the payment? each of us pay 8 dollars then we can get the unlimited carfax subscription and pull up our carfax'*? it'* alot better than paying 25 bucks each. PM me if you want to do it guys

Isn't that unlimited CarFax only for a month or so? I think I had one; sucked I didn't use it that much

yeah, only a month, but even if a few people go in on it, we can all get it cheaper than if we purchase one individually
