Default anyone got a cell phone they dont want anymore?

my best friend Ellie, a member here with like 2 posts haha, needs a new phone...very badly, her current phone is just a pile of junk...it barely even functions, she isnt old enough to get a rate plan and actually get a decent price on a phone, and she cant afford to buy a new one straight up...have you looked at buying a phone straight out lately? its insane what they want..

but if any of you have one just laying around being a paperweight i would be glad to take it off your hands, i only want ones that accept sim cards, and if its already a cingular phone that would make things much easier, but i can always unlock it...hopefully

im not asking for a freebie either, ill pay shipping if you just want to get rid of the thing, or if you want to talk price ill see what i can do...

shes really pretty, if you want to see who youre helping i can make it happen hahaha

I got a phone, but it looks like it won't help. It'* a Verizon LG VX4500 phone.

She could still use it for a pre-paid Verizon plan, tho....

WARNING: Any phone that was manufactured BEFORE 9/11/01 can NOT be hooked up to a current plan as of a few months ago. It has to do with the E-911 locating thing.
