I have taken Hoodia before. It is very overpriced for what you're going to get. Basically, it is marketed as a "diet" drug, but in fact, all it does is suppress your appetite. The original plant was used by tribes on long hunts to keep them from losing focus on the hunt as well as to prevent anyone from eating the food that was gathered on the trek back.

Did it work for me? It worked really well. It helped me control my appetite (I like to eat, lol). But you can find much better (and cheaper) alternatives in my opinion.

Overall I would give this to show:

Effectiveness | A
Retail Cost | C
Ease of Purchase | B-

It worked, bottom line. If you can get some for less than it is retailed, by all means, go for it. I found it hard to find in some drugstores/marketplaces.

Just remember to drink a LOT of water with it.
