Default Another photo album.....WORK pics this time.

Anyone care to join me?

Ok, here'* my desk. Alot of design work comes from here. You think this is bad? You should see the Bonneville mess by my home PC. Books and notes everywhere. That'* about all I use this thing for any more. But anyway, this is my desk at work:

And one of the labs I work in. This is a Lambda Physik powered 1064nm/355nm system. Custom optics, and control hardware/software. Most of this system was purchased like this, but I have some custom work in it:

This system I built almost entirely from the ground up. It'* a 10.6um CO2 laser (50W CW), with custom beam shaping and control. I designed the optical layout and all the custom hardware myself, as well as the control systems. This is the system I custom engraved my CAI cover on:

I design, build, and use (for unintended/unique purposes) laser systems for hp.

Who'* next? Anything (work related) goes!

I have 2 degrees, actually, but neither in Lasers or Optics. I kindof worked myself into that over the years. There are 8 of us in our area, but only 2 have the 'right' degree! My degrees are in Microwave Communications (has nothing to do with cooking) and Digital. My laser experience started years ago with micro-soldering with a laser, and grew from there.

Here are four of my favorite offices.

Both pics were taken in my backyard.
