I've got the Harmony880 (pretty much a 890 without the RF) and I love it. You're gonna kick yourself, but I bought my 880 for $150 through a member here as an employee purchase!
And yeah, I agree on the programming. I've tweaked mine quite a bit since first programming it, but the first programming took less than 20 minutes and that was for my reciever, tv, vcr, dvd player, and cable box.
