Another day off...went flying LOL! Lot'* of photos!
So I took Monday off after returning from NYBF to get a bit of rest. I needed it after doing 1,500 Kms in 3 days, this only one day after returning from England. I get into the office on Tuesday when my boss asks if I want to take the day off on Wednesday to go flying with him Twist my arm I said...
We took his EADS Tobago TB10 up around Mont Tremblant, flying over the Circuit Mont Tremblant race track where the Champ Cars raced this summer. Then we flew over the Mont Tremblant ski result, part of Intrawest'* network of developments. We touched down at the Riviere Rouge airport nearby and met the cutest flying instructor ever.
Next we left to go to Gatineau, across the river from Ottawa (the Nation'* Capital). Remarkably, a gentleman there has a private collection of planes including a Spitfire and Mustang, among others. All his planes are in flying order or are in the middle of being totaly restored. He was kind enough to let us in to have a look around.
What a day, I did most of the flying, what a blast!!!
Here'* a few pics;

The colours don't show all that well in the photos, it was a very hazy day.

Good to see another BC member taking to the skies! What a feeling, eh? I bet that Tobago had decent power and felt kinda zippy. Glad you enjoyed it, and hope you get the chance to do it again soon.

Did your boss explain how a constant speed system works? Or did you already know? I find them fascinating... kinda like a CVT in an automobile. They're really efficient.
What kind of airspeed were you guys getting in cruise?
