android vs. windows phone
Any opinions on these formats? I have US Cellular for service and next week am due for an upgrade. As this will be my first phone of this type, I was looking at a Samsung Mesmerize and HTC Desire for Android, and the HTC 7 PRO for Windows. Hmmmmm.......................

I haven't heard very much about windows phones, but I have heard a lot of good things about Android. I have been thinking about getting the HTC Incredible * when its time to upgrade my phone.

ive got the htc inspire 4g android phone, my wife and i have had these for a few months now without issue. it does everything you could want a phone to do she reads books on it. i use it for the internet and its fast and displays full pages on alot of sites. it lets you customize most every feature and home and side pages to quickly get to what you want. i would definitely buy these again

I use Android and love it but I'm also a certified Linux junkie. Otherwise iPhone seems to be the way to go FOR NOW.
Android is still a bit behind the iPhone in out of the box usability and reliability. If you are like me though and can put up with a little uncertainty, Android is definitely the way to go.

Well, for now, HTC Merge (Android) it is (sorry Brian, didn't see your post beforehand). Figure I'll give this a try for the 30 day period and if all else fails, to the Samsung Mesmerize I go. Thanks for the 411, now just wondering how long it'* going to take for me to figure this damn thing out.
