Default For the alternative rock fans out there

A friend of mine is the female drummer in a currently unsigned Alternative band called Sunsoma. They are currently taking part in a competition with MTV, and have a video on the MTV site that you can vote for. Basically, the top 4 rated videos by the end of November will have the chance to be filmed by MTV and have the results broadcast on the net and TV, which means massive publicity for them.

Here'* the link to the Sunsoma video on the MTV site:
http://www.mtv.co.uk/channel/flux/videos_185

If alternative rock is your kind of music please do watch the video and vote for them if you like what you hear/see (preferably with a 5 star rating!). To vote you will need to register on the site with your e-mail address but it'* a quick and painless process. Then log in and click on where it says "VIDEOS" on the green bar at the top of the page.

Next, click on the video marked "ispicey"

The video should then come up entitled 'Oxjam @The Star: Hollow'

You can then vote! If you like you can also leave a comment for the band.

They really do need your votes so it would be very much appreciated by me and of course by them if you could vote. You can only do this once so every vote counts.

I would also very much like to hear what you think of the band. They love to receive feedback and I will personally pass all comments on to them.

Also, if you would like to be added to Sunsoma'* mailing list please do let me know and provide me with an e-mail address which I can forward to the band via my friend Helen, the drummer!

Thanks guys!

Thanks very much Jerry, and anyone else who has voted so far. Very much appreciated!

Still need your votes more than ever though as they currently need at least 5 more votes to overtake the leaders. The prize for them will be to be filmed by MTV and broadcast on the MTV TV channels.

All votes need to be in by midnight on Wednesday.
