I just graduated with an associates degree... Albeit 9 yrs after I got my HS diploma but that is the way life goes. I served in the army for 6 of those years and so after i got out in 08 I had a full ride to college and so I am halfway to the goal but I did make it this far and am now able to have something to show for the last 2 and half years of sleep deprivation and insane hours and hours spent studying and getting to this point.

Congrats! i did my time in the army as well and will be attending school in october in houston, TX on a full free ride for auto body.

Congrats, GOJO83. Don't worry about it taking 9 years, life happens. I'm in a CC trying to get back into a 4 year program. I won't be finishing that for at least 6 years after getting my HS diploma. Patience is the key for everyone though.
