Are you going to swap it out with your Mr. Fusion generator? I bet a solar flare has more power than 1.1 jigawatts.

Haven't heard anything... the ARRL is speculating that this weekend is going to be really bad for the 10 meter contest due to this hemoridal(sp) flare up.

I have two local radio stations bleeding over each other (never heard it before) at about 102-105 FM.

Geez, this is gonna make me stumble around in the dark to put my dipole back up and see if I hear anything skipping in LOL. Cell phones and TV signal still seems fine.

We are also not too far from another 11 year sunspot cycle. Which has a dramatic effect on communications. Works out good for us though.

Don't have much to try it with, Realistic htx-100 and a shoulder height dipole LOL. At least I am not on a marine battery anymore, my brother got the idea that we could convert some surplus ATX power supplies over to bench supplies. They work OK after some solder and jumpering.

One notable thing, TV picture from the OKC station about 100 miles away, usually a little fuzzy and ghosty, is cable quality tonight.
