We finally got the wood stove hooked up and fired up last night. MAN THIS THING IS SWEEETTTT!!!!!!!!!!
It is great, I can't wait for it to get cold tonight and see how HOT it keeps it in here :P

There is no type of heat on this earth that compares to wood heat, youd just have to have it to understand. We run an outdoor wood burning furnace that heats our water as well. The only downside is it runs off an electric blower, so when the power goes out we have to revert to the old wood burning stove in the living room.
I dont blame you for ditching propane, all forms of heating are getting ridiculous. I think Im just going to live underground where the temperature stays mostly the same all the time.
