Its great that your job still offers and pays overtime. Most of my previous jobs were very strict about not allowing overtime.

I wish I got paid extra for my OT. Salary blows in that respect.

Yup, salary can really stink. But, on the other hand, I only do about 20 hours of work, only in the office 30 - 35, and get paid for 40, so I'll deal with no OT.

Its doubletime here at 56 hours and more..I've worked several 70+ hour workweeks and seen massive paychecks.

When I worked shift work for P&G i was on the 12 hour rotation

Monday, Tuesday- Friday Saturday Sunday week one
Wednesday,Thursday Week too

I worked a complete month of over time on top of my extra shifts at time and a half for the Mondays-Fridays and Double time for Saturdays-Sundays. That was 30 12 hour night shifts straight.

After a month i never offered to put my name on the OT list again

We were in major trouble last week in the shop. So I offered to come in Sunday, no biggie since Sunday is just my chill day around the house, I can give it up once in awhile. But I got double time under the table

I hate working alot of OT though. Once about a year ago and a half ago I worked 70 hrs between 2 jobs and was going to school sometime in there too. I did that for 2 weeks, I never want to do anything like that again.
