We have a stable mobile version. And that'* as far as I will go with it. Not feeling 3rd party apps vs our 10 years of database to protect.

There was a discussion about an iPhone version some time ago (except with Tapatalk instead of Forumrunner, which are nearly identical). The advantage to the current mobile interface is that it supports not only smartphones, but also most "dumbphones" as well.

I'm an iPhone user, too, and I know the forum can do better than the current mobile incarnation, but last I heard, this is all we're getting. At the very least, it'* better than nothing.

EDIT: I believe our current mobile version is only available to subscribers. If you're not a paid member, you might not be seeing it.

The Forum chose proven stable vB software that caters to the Largest Group of cell users.
The Forum isnt wrapping itself into codes for every little whim of a minority group.
The Forum is not catering to a appliance that statistically is plummeting in it'* share of that market.
While we will try to do our best in everything, we feel its best to consider statistics and use them into our decisions.
According to user stats for mobile version, iPhones are unique in percentage of mobile users. And in total general forum traffic account for less than .05 percent of it.
The Forum does not believe unique is special. But for those who do, we can have a special bus for them. Let me go develop this [special bus] tag. It won't take long, being it is, a short bus.
