Isn't that funny how that works? I hate lawers. They say they help people. Ya, they help drain your savings account. I have a story about a lawer but i'll save that for another topic. I'll be perfectly up front with you, if his dad is a lawer you're screwed. They are sneaky filthy little bastards that only care about themselfs, their wealth, and reputation. It would harm his reputation if his son got charged. Really, lawers can be dangerous if you make them feel threatened. They are the most selfish people imaginable. If you had sufficient evidence, and it never went to trial, then the county attourney should be able to file a jurisdictional misconduct charge against him. That'* how it is in Iowa anyways...

Reading between the lines of his voicemail... here'* an inside tip: she'* not being 100% honest with you. I guarantee her actions in the past three months has led him to believe there'* still a chance for them to be a family. Think about it... what drives you men crazy? Women.

Why would she do that?Why would she lead him on? Because she'* not strong enough to walk away alone from that relationship. She needs someone to "take" her away. You're actually being used....however I do find it hard to believe you would be "just friends" still. No offense... but sex is a powerful force that drives us all. If the boyfriend was seriously out of the picture, the next guy moves in. It'* human nature. Kudos to you if you have restained yourself. but I don't blame you if you haven't.

Regardless, the case shouldn't have been thrown out. And even if it did go to court, lawyers take turns winning - Small town politics...it'* the same everywhere. That poor baby will be the tie that binds him and her together.... for a very, very long time.

As an update, tomorrow at 1:30 I file the papers for the PPO. From there, we'll see. I'm not talking to Courtney anymore though, we're coworkers, and that'* it. I told her that. I plan on having a conversation with her later though telling her that she needs to get him out of her life ASAP for herself. I think that she feels stuck with him and her self confidence is low enough that she doesn't even realize how miserable she really is. I guess I was drawn to her because I wanted to make her life better. Now though, after talking with some close family members, I know I want a relationship that is better than that, without the strings attached. I care about her, but I can't care enough to jeopardize my future if she'* not willing to help herself.

Update. The restraining order was granted. he cannot come to my place of employment, whether I'm working or not. He can't come within eye-sight distance of me and cannot communicate with me in anyway.

I also just got a call that there is a warrant out for his arrest right now for the charges that were filed from the assault. apparently the case was transferred to another county because his father knew so many people in the county I live in.

Well I'm glad to ehar something is being done about it. Hope all works out in the end. And nice pic BTW lol

While this has taken a turn for the better, I dont think this is over yet by any means. As he has said in his second voice mail to you that you posted on page 1: Allot of bad can come of this and he doesnt even have to be there.....so if the PPO keeps him away, who will be the next thug doing his dirty work????
