Just checked the new posts on Lycaeum, and found this. May be of interest to you guys.

Quote:
Misanthropy: It was Artemisia absinthium.
I made "absinthe" by soaking the wormwood and some other herbs (for taste) in alcohol for two weeks and filter. I also smoked dried wormwood leaves and flowers in joints, dipped in the "absinthe". Tea and gelcaps was also ingested with no effects.
In addition one of my best friends drank a whole bottle of absinthe from the Czech republic. This made him drunk and sick, but not "high" or "tripped out".

These are just my experiences with the substance and might not be similar to what other people experience, but until i get "high" from thujon I do not belive it is a psychoactive substance 8other than a MILD sedative).

That was found in this thread.

It only affects me like strong alcohol.
Only have to drink half as much of this stuff.
Different taste is OK.

If one wants a stone buzz, Texada Island is only minutes away.

Sold in Canada, B.C. at the local liquor store.
It is about twice the cost of a regular bottle of booze, so it'* not a deal.
