Quick Vent --

So, i work for our local school system, and i have been getting about 20 hours a week for a part time job -- not bad. But today i get a call from the superentendent (i cant spell) for me to go to his office... i was pretty scared, never had a metting with him before, it was either going to be good --- promotion, or bad, he calls me in and says because of buget cuts they have to lay off some people, i'm thinking crap i am going to loose my job. But he says because of all the good work i do they aren't going to lay me just cut my hours in half. So now i get 10 hours a week!! I was pissed, but at least i didn't loose my job. But know i have to look for a second job because i have insurence, gas, all the other misc stuff. So know i am going to have two jobs, high school, and college classes. So not much time for my bonneville.

then find another job.

well i would have just quit, or took the layoff, but this job is really good experience for me because i am only 17 and this job is the basis of what i am going to college for, so i need all the experiece i can get.

yea i was pretty excited when i got the job, not many people get a chance to have a job like this.

And just the other night..the news says we have no youngsters going after these jobs.

So i go to work today and there is a new schedule sitting on my desk, my boss made me a new schedule... I now get 5 hours a week! How the hell do they think i am going to live on pay from 5 hours a week. And what i havn't mentioned before they only pay me minimum wage. -- 5.15. So i am really pissed now. I am now looking for a second job.
