15 mpg as the lowest? That would mean 15 mpg around town? How?

Anyway back on topic didint someone here buy a V10 dodge truck that caught fire (engine fire)within days of owning it. I would look up info about that.

Let'* not bicker about gas mileage, I think what Ben is asking is related to reliablity of the truck and some good websites.

Did you not just say the Tornado thing would help gas mileage in a V10? A v10 is not a smaller engine

Anyway...

What will be the main purpose of this truck? If you are hauling alot of stuff or pulling a trailer go for the V10 but if you are just looking for a good around town evryday truck I would pass on the V10.

blah blah blah i owned one and i RARELY bested 10mpg... seriously put that 20 mpg SHlT to bed right now...
i LOVED the truck though. it had gas motor power(310hp) and diesel torque(450ft-lbs), yummy. it was roomy on the inside (ext. cab), and the interior was pretty decent. mine was an 00 with 70k on it and it had no past issues of tranny problems. none during my ownership tenure.

Downside: Caught on fire(electrical, near the battery area the fire company said).

damn i miss that thing.

big_news_1: just post up any questions and i can help you out to the best of my ability, well except if you want 20mpg... :P
