Default 97 gtp

to all those who have them or know about them post. I found a 2 dr 97 gtp with 90K for 5900 is that a good price and what else should I beware of. The left headlight is cracked but repaired with silicone. It is a one owner good buy?

Seems a little high. I got my 97 for 5500 two years ago, and it had 85K.

I guess it depends on how good of shape the car is.

it looks great but there is a sorta clunk or thud from the suspension in the front when going over a series of bumpy roads but was smooth when on better roads I guess I am just used to the cars like the regal and the bonneville and the park avenue. I am not used to the sport suspension.

97 didn't have traction control I believe. look on the DIC, that'* where the button should be.

my 99GTP with 72XXX miles on it was only 8500 and that was modded and bought through a dealership. In my town they have a 2002 GTP with 80000 miles on it for 8600 and i would get it if i wasnt so new into ownership with my GT. The GTPs are good cars overall. Some aspects of them may "seem" cheaper quality than the bonneville to some people, but i have been more than satisfied with both of my Grand Prix'* i plan on owning another one. They ride a little bit more firm but they are made to do that. That might be just a little much though, i suggest doing as said above and checking the kbb.com and nada guides i know most banking institutions around here use nada and so do insurance companies. good luck and keep us posted

well this is going to be a replacement car for my gf whose other car was totalled by a dumb driver in a mustang. She is not used to driving in the snow and well it is a powerfull car and I don't want her getting hurt. I think that the traction control would be a good safety measure

These cars hold up well in accidents. I've seen firsthand in my line of work and also personally how well they protect the occupants. That is one reason I got my gp gt and at some point I will move up to the sc'd. I just have to pace myself
