yeah, we know that the 5.7 would be easier and more powerfull, we already did a 5.7 swap in my old 1991 *-10 blazer. the whole point of this would be that #1 we already have the engine, wiring, and computer to run it. #2 it is different from what everyone else is doing, everyone does v8 swaps into these *-10s, I have never heard of anyone swapping in a supercharged 3.8.
also, switching the supercharger around, using a different supercharger and/or intake would not work because of money.
we would be doing this on the cheap with all junkyard parts and custom fabrication. that is why we would use the 1993 L67 that I already have in STOCK form, no mods. we could probably get a junkyard trans for a few hundred bucks, that is the main thing we are looking at, is what junkyard parts, if any, could we use to get this engine into the blazer
so, is there a starter that would fix this??

Just remember that RWD 60 degree V6 has the starter on the Passenger side of the block, whereas the RWD and FWD 3800 has the starter on the DRIVER side of the block

When GM made the 60 degree V6, the same block casting was drilled with the starter on the passenger side for RWD applications (F-Body, *-10, etc) and on the driver'* side for FWD applications (including the P-Body Fiero GT.) So when swapping 60degree V6 motors you always had to make sure your motor was the correct block configuration. With the 3800 Series II, there is only one configuration...starter on the driver'* side. The TTA and GN 3800 motors may have the starter on the passenger side...I don't get to look at too many of them, they are rare birds indeed.
You can try it out and with what you have and see if the nose of your starter clears the inside of the bellhousing. But if it doesn't, you need the correct transmission case. You have nothing to loose in trying with the parts in hand. If it does fit, then you can make a new tin dust cover to close up the bellhousing.
