Default '93 lumina water pump... replacement cost? (parts and labor)

Anyone have a guess? Looks like water pumps run about 40 bux... I'm an amateur, so I think I would best not be the one to replace it.

Having owned a 91 Lumina and done multiple water pumps on customers vehicles, I'd say an hour labor plus parts. Figure... $125 or so.

I did mine on my 90 Lumina. That seems slightly high but not toooo bad. You do have to drain, fill and purge the air out of the cooling system. Not to hard but takes a little extra time beyond swapping the pump itself.

Yeah, $190 does seem high, but including coolant and the other fees (hazmat, etc), that'* reasonable... but just barely.
