Just think of what we could do if we had an IC from the factory.
Well, the problem is the sticker price would go up, the insurance rates would go up, etc.. So it is actually cheaper for you to buy a GTP how they are and put on your own intercooler. Especially since you can get ZZP'* SS unit for $550...

Hate to be a bubble-burster, but the front and rear tire are the same size.
They just look bigger in some of the pictures because they're using a telephoto lens.
It looks like, other than the wheel offset, the trackwidth on this car is exactly the same as the stock version. I'd say that this isn't actually a concept car, but rather is a modified pre-production car. In other words, it came off the same assembly line as the production cars, then went to the R&D section for some changes.

I'll agree with that one. There are too many things that are exactly the same interior wise to be a prototype

I bet GM does that alot when planning changes to a car in current production....

Those wheels stick out a lot more then the 97-03 GP'*. As said in the article, they took off the fender flaring because it would look funny on a Regal, etc.
