Went and saw 300 today and it was AMAZING!
It is without a doubt my new favorite movie. I definitely have to go see it in a movie theater with a bigger screen and surround sound because i am sure that it will be that much better.
But if you have a chance definitely go see this one!!
It’* not a family movie, but it’* a good one.

Frank Miller is a genious, Sin City was amazing, but this movie IMO was even better.

I do not enjoy bloody movies. To me, it'* completely unnecessary to show that much blood. It seems no one wants to leave that stuff to the imagination anymore.

Trust me, I'm not queasy when it comes to the sight of blood, I just don't agree with the presentation of gore as supposed "entertainment".

The subject matter and story, though, is amazing. I would have loved to be able to watch it.

the bloodyness and gore is Frank Miller...
thats just the way his graphic novels are and without that the movies wouldn't be as good IMO

Well, I won't take this off topic and get into a discussion of how people can consider gore as entertainment, but the story did seem intriguing.

I just saw something on the news about 300. Filmed in front of a green screen for 90 days in a rented railroad shed in Montreal, then CG'ed for 16 months (!!) in a house north of Montreal.

I loved it.

It was historically accurate for the most part.
