Nice!! It reminds me of living in NY and having the fourth of July in Ozone Park Queens. John Gotti Territory. They used to close 101st ave off for about a block and have one big party on the fourth.

Everything was free. All you can eat and drink all night and the fireworks? WOW. I would come home covered in black soot from the Firecracker pit that was in the middle of the street. It was lit all night as they poured matts and matts of firecrackers in.

The best part was feeling the percussion from the mortors that they would light right in the middle of the street out of 12"+ diameter steel tubing welded upright. It was a blast, literally!!
