X2 I am not into retro Mustangs and Camaros which were midsized. I am talking about over powered two ton monsters. Bonnevilles of the past, Goats of that era, Cutlass, Catalina'*, any of Mopars offerings of that era. That GP doesnt look like a muscle car. Then or now. It looks like a Jap import in size, stance, track, etc. with some Americanizing masculine lines put here and there. If thats what kids want these days fine, its better than getting rice I guess but it is not a miuscle car. Pete the Fake Canadian'* pics of Accura point just to what I am saying. It'* a rice convert To give people of that interest an American alternative. How you going to fit 6 real men and a keg of beer, poles and tackle in that thing. It'* made for 4 girls and handbags.

The Holden platform is much bigger then that picture shows. It'* a 4 door GTO, which isn't a small car. It'* an IRS RWD platform, which is basically what all pontiacs will be eventually. The Solstice is pontiac'* newest platform, and it has a chassis modeled after top sports cars/Formula 1 chassis, and frankly it'* the direction they need to go if they want to compete with BMW performance like they think they will.
Pontiac is going after performance, not as much in refinement and luxury. If you're looking for sporty cars, look at Pontiac, if you want sporty and luxurious get a Caddy. Large car lovers will need to look to the buick lucerne (closest iteration to the Bonneville we know) or the Caddy DHS.

I like the new look. I've always liked the Holden styling too. Their cars have rugged chassis and suspension setups, which is what Pontiac needs. A stock GP (with the GXP as an exception, cause that thing actually handles great), has sub-par handling in stock form.

i dont think the TL and bonneville have anything in common other than size. the scetch of the "grand prix" defenately has some EVO 8 in there, and maybe a little of the last style galant, but not the new one. i think its a big improvement over the current model though. i hate that car. my mom has an 02 GPGT, and thats the last ive seen of good ideas for that car until now. i just hope they do away with these damn plastic dashboards, what a bunch of cheap crap that is. and the G5!? i know its just a cobalt with pontiac tags, but at least give it different headlights for christ sakes! pontiac is losing its edge in styling in my opinion. same with the torrent. arg, maybe im just pissed casue i have to work tomorrow...
