Peek-a-boo!
Yeah, I am really REALLY digging the new 'bu. But I am so upside down on the Maxx right now....I couldn't do it even if I wanted to.
Besides, I NEVER get a first-year car. Once the second or third year rolls around, then I will consider it.

I like them especially from a side shot.
the interior kinda reminds me of old school 60'* corvettes with the duel sided rounded dash.
I wonder if they will ever make a model called the chevelle.
kinda hope not.

i kinda digg it, but the V6 is too expensive... 26k for a base model V6... too much money to get a V6 IMO, but not THAT much more to compete with something like an altima
its certainly a step up for that model car.
wouldnt buy it, but its a nice mid price car. too much $$ for the v6, toastedoats beat me to that one.
is it me or does saturns aura look similar? just an observation thats all. i like the saturn.

The Aura is, like the Malibu, an Epsilon-based vehicle. It appears that GM is streamlining the chassis lineup so that ALL Epsilon vehicles share the same framework (I.E. no more Malibu Maxx). They are also streamlining engine choices, as the V6 in the Malibu is the same one that the Aura has been using since it first came out.
Personally...I like that interior. I'm not all that sold on the exterior. And I loathe the fact that they cut the Maxx model. Granted, it'* a love it or leave it design, but I wanted practicality along with a sporty ride, and I got it with the Maxx. It was GMs first wagon since they cut out the full-sized Caprice/Roadmaster, and it has served, and continues to serve, me well.
