Default 2003 Lake to Lake Mountain Bike Race

Did I ever tell you I love the spring and summer...woo hoo

This year, me and some co-workers are doing the Annual Lake to Lake Mountian Bike race. This race takes place in the town of Port Colborne on the shores of Lake Erie and finishes in Port Dalhousie, a small tourist village in St. Catharines on the shores of Lake Ontario.

This year, AAC (my firm) is entering a team called 3 Guys and 2 Girls. I can't wait, its 50km of off road mountain bike mayhem. Usually the turn out is very good. This will be my first year participating. So, I bought a new bike and get to pick it up this Thurs..April 17th..wo0t

Heres a pic of my new ride!!

26" Schwinn 210-FS, front suspension mountain bike
Steel hardtail diamond frame with oversize tubing and RST front suspension fork
Shimano Tourney front and rear derailleurs
21-speed SRAM MRX indexed grip shifters
Pro Max alloy V-type brakes
Alloy rims, stem, seat post, pedals
Kenda K816 26 x 2.1" tires (I upgraded)
20" frame
Blue colour

I upgraded to off road Kenda tires, added some toes clips and bought a matching Schwinn racing helmet...hee hee I plan to get dirty out there.

but mine is blue to match the bike

How are you folks planning on spending the summer?

oh and my pool opens in ONE MONTH!!! woo hoo!!! the countdown is on...bring on the summer!! wo0t!
