Ok folks, when changing your oil, make sure that the old oil filter gasket is still attached to the old filter!!!

Friggin A, 5 quarts of fresh oil ALL over the driveway! Good thing I was watching the oil pressure and quickly looked under the car to see oil spewing all over the place. All because of a 20cent gasket.

i did this once back in 98 on my step dads car haha ever sense ive always double checked

I always watch. I crawl under the car after filling to check for leaks before starting the engine. My dad forgot to put the drain plug back in once.
