what about the s7?

That's a LeMans racer that's street legalized...

Obviously things such as some hi-po german cars are built to fly on the autobahn, and some sports cars, and supercars.

yeah but it would be fun

Fun..

Oh yes.

But on those roads, it's suicidal, endangering others, etc..

in traffic...thats f* up.

I can understand it on a lonesome highway in the middle of idaho but not in the city.

i wont deny it i have done it.. done a little more then 142mph its not something i do all the time once and a blue moon. the way i see it if i do it once then i know what my car will do i dont need to do it again till i buy a new car !

but at 16 thats ridiculous i dont care you dont have the experience to drive that fast.

I guess I need to clarify my stand. I certainly agree that he NEVER should have been doing that, especilly after seeing the pics of what that area is like.
I guess I was coming frm a legal standpoint, referring to the article I posted. I guess that's why I work in the legal field.
I also agree that he never should have been driving that type of car at his age, unless he has some serious racing experience, even then he isn't wise enough to realise the difference between a track and a public street.
I think his best punishment would be to take his car away......

and give it to me

Well.. when I was 16 I had a quick car with long gears, and one night a Mustang decided he wanted to kill a ricer and I wasnt about to let him.... lets just say I did around what that kid did. But, two lane highway with a divider and basically me by myself after a while...

Was I stupid? Very. Should I have had my car/license taken away? Yes. Something happened after I did that though; never went nearly that fast again.

I hope this kid has learned his lesson.

Hey I was stupid one time, I was driving with my dad out in the middle of nowhere in western Ohio, and i asked my dad, "How fast do you think this thing can go?" (It was a 2002 Kia Optima LX V6), so he told me to floor it so I did, pulled fairly quickly all the way to 144 when it hit the fuel cutoff.

Yes it was very stupid, and I knew I shouldn't have done it.
