1337ssei and I hung out with a guy with a turbo Beetle, and he needed a tuneup and an oil change. Here'* the Beetle backing into the garage:

The NGK spark plugs, OE, have VW logos!

Torx bits are needed for nearly every single bolt! Even the oil pan drain plug! Here is 1337ssei'* masterful removal of the ignition coils, which sit on top of the valve cover and go straight to the plugs.

Make a fist. That'* how big the turbocharger is. The air intake duct goes way behind the engine and by the firewall. Then, non-intercooled, it goes straight up here:

Well, there you go. Now you have seen under the hood of a turbo Beetle. The guy uses synthetic oil, by the way.
