Default 06 Mustangs, hear anything?

Buddy of mine is getting a fully loaded manual black Mustang GT coupe. Anyone heard pro'* and con'* about the 2005+?

until you get a 14.5 or better under your belt don't put any money down on a race -those things will run a low 14 or high 13 bone stock -much improved over the last generation.

They are pretty fast, 13.7 with a good driver, the chassis is much more solid than the last gen, better in cornering, traction, everything is improved, and the reliability of the 4.6 is well known.

I have two friends that have run their 05 GTs. One stock: 14.4, one modded to put down another 25 hp to the wheels, 14.05. Neither are superb drivers with a manual.
