Some a$$holes steal just to be stealing.

You know what would be a good deterrent for vandals and thieves?
Have a police officer watching so they don't run off, but make them walk around some place with a lot of people and be holding a sign explaining what they did.

The humiliation would be more horrible than the pain of having a tooth pulled without novocaine.

No physical harm done, and it would set a great example.

Caning. Like they did to that kid who thought it would be fun to vandalize over in the far east.

Sending them to jail ain't working. Most of 'em don't have real jobs anyway, so they "3 hots and a cot" for a few months, and sent back to bother us.

Instead, whack 'em in the *** with a flexible strip of bamboo a few times. I bet that'd make 'em think....

I couldn't agree more! Maybe an exception for a hungry child or mother, but hungry children and mothers can't eat a $100 pair of sunglasses.


Edit: okay, before someone points it out, yes you could sell the sunglasses and sell food. Nonetheless...
