Default *UPDATE* Well here'* the news from the dealer

So the Chevy dealer has had my car since last Wednesday and they FINALLY figured out what was wrong with it, well sort of. The finally got the car to do it while test driving it and 2 codes came up. 1 was for the EBCM (electronic brake control module), and the other one was for the Steering Positioning Sensor (which manyt of you said was likely the problem). So they said that they were going to run some more testing to see which one was causing the steering and low trac issue. I'm leaning towards it being the Steering Positioning Sensor and the fact that it'* bad is causing the EBCM to kick in when the car'* steering gets all screwy. So yeah...I guess I'll get my car back either today or tomorrow. Aslong as it'* before Friday I'm happy!

Glad it'* getting fixed.

But yeah, you'd be better off to just add to your previous thread and modify the title to add "Update"...

That way people will remember what it was all about.

Thanks, lash.

Pearl_bonnie02--please update your original thread rather than start a new one.

When you start a new thread confusion such as this happens.

Thanks.
