EDIT: Kelly Blue Book sets the value of this car at $27,650 in excellent condition with only 10 miles on it. That car is extremely overpriced, only a rich SUCKER would pay that much.
I also did the same thing with a '90 LE like mines with the same conditions...$1700, $2,875 for an SSE, what a difference.

In my eyes looking at the pics this car has tale tale signs of being driven a lot more than 9.9 miles...
I'll almost bet the Odo rolled.... Its got the old odo that goes to 99999.9 then back to 00000.0

I ran the carfax on it, and all is good on the report
My guess? It was a showroom display that they never got rid of, you know...like a centerpiece. I've seen that kinda thing before. Toyota Daytona had (or maybe still has) an all-original and brand new 1985 Supra that was still in the showroom. And the old McNamara Pontiac in downtown Orlando (which is now abandoned) still has a Firehawk in there. Remind me to go get pics of it sometime

Someone buy that and run it down the track... Subtract the 1 in front of all the numbers behind the $$ tho...

I smell scam as well. That lot does NOT look like the kind of dealership that keeps a car in the showroom if they aren't looking to sell it off quickly. And there isn't a dealership in the country that doesn't have a seller ID without plenty of feedback. I smell odo rollback, didn't that year of 700r4 still use a cable drive for the speedo/odo?
Even if the car is legit, you'd be taking a hell of a chance. Every rubber part the underside of that thing is going to be dry rotted, which means replacing EVERY bushing in the entire front and rear suspension. The gas lines are probably varnished, the brake lines will be rusting from the inside.
That said, that car is nice and straight, and the interior looks clean as hell.

Well, here is proof that it was never titled...

Of course, if it DID sit around the dealer for that long, the service department could have "accidentally" disconnected the speedometer. Also, if it was lot driven and kept below a certain speed, those old-school speedometers would not register the speed, and in turn won't trip the odo. Sadly, that is the major drawback to cable-driven speedometers.

I wonder why the service on 06 ???? ODO replacement or hooked it back up? and even sitting wouldnt they have done all the recalls.... just to keep it updated and on the carfax it doesnt show the in service date. I'm going to have my service advisor run that vin through GM data tomorrow..
And looking at the CarFax report where was it prior to 92? chit its a 87 shipped late 86 where was it for 5 years.

Just doesn't look like the same GNX '* you see around the track, we have 2-3 that race regularly at NRP. What does the vin show??? Does it say T-Type or Grand National.
