I will actually be looking at the edit permissions and working something out cause so many have retentive musings about it. But it will be for a short time window. So many browsers have built in spell checkers now, I couldn't live without one. grammar wasn't my best subject.

I should have never made the edit comment. Give an inch, they always want a mile. A month of what became a huge frustration and security issue as a prize?
I am looking at returning to the 10 minute edit window that used to be here..... Looking at. That'* not even concrete yet. It is a shame we have to take such steps because a few want to violate TOS , Spam, and others reword things that started flames. But they are realities I have to weigh over people not taking the time to use basic grammar taught at the Elementary level.
Having a hard time "feeling" this issue. So many browsers have spell check, and people want to come of as intelligent and informed, yet can't even be bothered to Capitalize correctly. You are as you speak/type, and some want a button to hide it? I wonder, what convenience do they use in real life?

I'm sure there is a hack to correct that !!
For me the edit isn't so much spelling, its adding to the post instead of posting another reply, it is easier in the DB to just edit.
Maybe you could allow supporters the ability, Just another perk.
