I am not skilled in any ways but I recently put up chair rails and wall paper in my hallways of my new house. I need so ideas and figured other might want to post what they have done with pics. I will add pics to this thread soon.

Well, I had to reroute the wiring for the range this weekend. The Missus wanted the range on the other side of the kitchen than where the 240V outlet was. Fun project...

1. Changed the first floor to 9'
2. Added a linen closet to the master bath
3. Switched master closet with laundry room so closet is accessible from bedroom instead of masterbath
4. Moved bathroom rough-in in basement to allow larger finished room on basement wall with egress window
5. Added 1' to each side of the rear steps so my clumsy *** won't step off the side

1)Made office cpace instead of mini bar
2)Converted side entry garage into 3 car pull through with shop and 2nd floor
3)Put walk in closets in upstairs bedrooms
4)Switched sewing room with upstairs bathroom to oposite sides.
5)Added master bathroom Jacuzzi
6)3 sliding glass doors and two windows instead of 5 french doord leading onto the read coverd deck
7)Gas fireplace with river rock in family room
Built in TV and book cabinet in family room
9)Celing fans in vaulted family room for better cooling upstairs
10)9 foot celings


and the list goes on.... I'm sure my dad could tell you more...

Wow you guys are so handy...man I wish I was better with tools. I did run and install a ceiling fan im my office but am afraid my fat butt will fall thru the cathedral ceiling in the bedroom to try.

We have a large garden tub in the master bathroom and I would love to take that out and put in a jacuzzi tub instead but I dont have the electric lines.

I wish I did. I was gonna try exposed wires with a cover going down the wall but thought it would not look good in the end.
