Default What?! Not a Bonne owner?!?

Yep, I'm not. My brother, Bandit, is on here, and though I don't own a GM anymore, I do still really like some of their produts. I guess my favorite is the GNX. Damn.

Anyhoo, I'm a member of Team Mudnuts, I have a 2002 Jeep WJ (Grand Cherokee), and a 1994 Ford Bronco.

Simple specs:

02 WJ: 4.7L V8, 45RFE 5 Speed Auto Trans, 3.73 Gears, Lil'bitty tires, K&N FIPK Gen 2, 2.5" "Really open, man!" exhaust with Thrush muffler, 3" chrome tip (Non-Folgers), Jet Stage II computer module, Addco Sway Bars, ProComp RS9000 Shocks. Stock numbers are 235HP 295TQ, guessing I may have added about 15-20HP on top of those with the mods. Planning a projector HID headlight upgrade, I'll let you know how it goes.

94 Bronco: 302 V8, E4OD 4 Speed Auto Trans, 4.56 Gears, 33" AT and MT tires, Detroit Tru-Track front posi, Auburn rear posi, 4" Skyjacker Stage II Suspesion Lift System, K&N FIPK, Gibson 3" Exhaust (Soon to be Dynomax 2.5"), Jet Performance Module. Added nifty headlight/tailights (they actually don't look bad). Window tint, CB Radio w/525W linear amp, halfway decent sound system.

My last GM... was my first vehicle... (those up there are 2nd and 3rd)

1984 Buick Regal Limited. 3.8L V6, Turbo 200 Trans. Damn near 1:1 rear gear ratio (not really, but it was like a 2.38 or something sick). Spun the bearings at about 190K miles, after over-revving the engine. Replaced it with a 4.1L V6 with a 4BBL carb (factory, man, way overkill for the V6) and a turbo 350. Same lame gearing. Did you know those cars really didn't need the computer at all? Took mine out after figuring it didn't do a damn thing anymore. Had a mish-mosh sound system with like a bazillion speakers, and a few subs. Tinted the windows myself. Car was black, I blacked out all the chrome, added chrome Cragar Super Spoke wheels and a set of 235/60R15 tires. No muffler! Really. Just a cat to muffle the exhaust. It meowed.

I really miss that car.

Anyhoo. I'm one of those gun-totin', american-vehicle driving, computer geekin', electronic fiddlin, uh... wait a minute. I think there'* only one of them. Me.

I've come in search of info. And uh. Stuff.

L8r!

Thanks guys! I'll post some pics of my WJ soon. I wanna wait for a sunny day, clean it up, and take some good pics at a park or something. That, and I'm gonna try a McCulloch HID kit in it, too. Wish me luck.

Welcome. Just met your brother this past weekend. Sounds like you got some fun toys of your own there. While we can help you out a lot on your vehicle specific questions, we can point you in the right direction, or help with universal things, such as HID advice.

Welcome you own American cars so your okay with me. Welcome let me tell you a funny story. Joined Bonneville Club in may with 3 cars 90 Grand Prix LE V6 Sedan, 92 Cadillac Sedan Deville and a 2001 Chevy Impala 3400 Sedan. After wanting a Bonn when I got my Impala couldnt afford one... I have been hooked along with my son since. Umm my son a month after we joined felt the pressure and figured sh*t were in the Bonny club with no Bonny, but uhh that soon changed. These guys around here have an effect on you. Thanks for joining maybe you will be like me join without and end up trading a car (my wonderful 92 Deville) for an 05 Bonneville SLE! I think we need another 05 SLE owner I am the ONLY ONE! And not to forget it I wanted a Bonneville when I traded in my 77 Bonneville Sedan in 90 on my Grand Prix but couldn't afford the SSE I wanted so it was pointless, glad I waited until 05! What one place and a bunch of Bonneville nuts can do to you. I know you will like it here! A classic Regal Owner eh? Those were better looking than the GP'* of that time cept for the Aero Coupe... Anyone recall? Anyways welcome sorry I can get side tracked lol.
