Two Bonnevilles in Indy
New to the site -
I have a red 94 Bonneville. Bought it in '96 with 34K miles. She has 190K on her now and she still looks great...
Getting ready to purchase a 93 SSEi with 42K miles from my parents. Supercharger is going out so I will have to replace it this week.

Welcome!
Did you paint your wheels red? That'* gotta be custom work.
Before you replace the supercharger on the 93, start a thread in Forced Induction. You likely have a bad SC coupler ($7 part).

I am concerned about the level of silicone in my oil analysis sample since switching to the K&N.

As for the supercharger, I have not had a chance to look at it, but when my mom was driving it started to make a loud sucking noise, then the engine quit. She was able to restart it, but it still made noise so she shut it down and had it towed to a local mechanic. He took the SC belt off and it ran fine, but he said that the SC was binding up. My guess is that the lube ran low (or dry?). I am going to take a look for myself tomorrow and probably order a replacement SC...
