Default Re-Intro...

Just got a new '05 SE to replace the '96 that gave her life for my wife ! She took the majority of the damage so that my wife could walk away. I have been reading and following for a few months and am now looking for info on the '05 SE like clearing the corners, putting in a new air box and cone, and trying to find out if I can get the DIC working in this baby at all. Also, I thought standard equip for '05 was with On-Star but there is none in ours and also getting the XM satellite working. Any info would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks to all of you experts and Bonne lovers!!

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the accident....but soooo glad to hear that your wife is okay. The more I hear about the way these cars hold up in accidents, the more I am amazed. Just today my nieghbor says to me, "...WHY is THAT your daily driver? It'* too nice!" My reply was simply, "because I value my life."

Thanks for sharing and enjoy the new ride!

Welcome to the club!

Do you have any warranty left on the car?

I also had a DIC problem that took 11 months to fix. I had to go to Pontiac to have the problem resolved.

Re-Welcome!!!
Glad to hear your Other Half is safe and sound.
I think OnStar only came as a standard piece in the SLE or higher, and the SE had it as an optional thing.
