Are we allowed a picture in BOTH the avatar AND the signature?
I had one in both, and both were displayed, But the avatar has disappeared and uploading another (GIF) avatar seems to have no affect.
I'll quit trying if one or the other is allowed, but not both.

It'* not you. There are still avatar problems from the server move. The only solution is to wait. I have the same problem.
